Patients don’t have to be nervous about getting dental care at our practice. We will make you feel welcome, explain your procedures in detail and answer all of your questions. We also provide sedation so that, even if you are fearful of the dentist, you can still comfortably receive the treatment you need.

Relax with Sedation Dentistry

For extra relaxation, we offer nitrous oxide, oral sedation and IV sedation. With oral sedation, you take an oral medication before treatment that eliminates nervousness while still allowing you to follow instructions.

IV sedation

With IV sedation, you are placed into a sleeplike state that provides maximum comfort. Oftentimes, patients who received care under IV sedation remark that they don’t remember anything about their procedure.

Dr. Primm is certified in IV sedation and personally administers it. Nearly all patients receive IV sedation for the surgical procedures he performs, unless they prefer to not have it or can’t have it due to medical reasons.

If you receive treatment under sedation, you will need to have a driver over 18 years old drive you home from your appointment.
